Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

Method

Instructions
  1. Gather ice cube trays, silicone molds, or small paper cups for shaping treats. Clean all equipment thoroughly and arrange ingredients within easy reach.
  2. Combine 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, mashed banana, and peanut butter in a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth and creamy with a thick, pudding-like consistency.
  3. Blend 1/2 cup Greek yogurt with fresh blueberries using a fork or potato masher. Leave some berry chunks for texture and visual appeal.
  4. Pour low-sodium chicken broth directly into ice cube compartments for simple savory treats.
  5. Whisk pumpkin puree with melted coconut oil and a drizzle of honey until well combined.
  6. For layered treats, create rainbow treats by layering different flavors in larger molds. Start with pumpkin mixture, add blueberry blend, then top with peanut butter banana. Use a toothpick to create marbled patterns.
  7. Place filled molds in the freezer for 4-6 hours until completely solid.
  8. Remove treats by running warm water over mold bottoms. Store finished frozen dog treats in freezer bags for up to three months, labeling with preparation dates.

Notes

Freeze for 4-6 hours until solid. Store in freezer bags for up to 3 months. Serve one treat per 20 pounds of body weight. Never use products containing xylitol. Always supervise dogs while eating treats. Suitable for puppies over 12 weeks in smaller portions.
