Ingredients

Materials Needed
  • 1 KONG Wobbler toy
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup dry kibble or small training treats
  • freeze-dried treats (optional for variety)

Method

Initial Introduction Phase
  1. Fill the Wobbler about one-quarter full with high-value treats rather than regular kibble
  2. Demonstrate the wobbling motion yourself to show your dog how it works
  3. Allow your dog to investigate while you gently tip the toy to release a few treats
  4. Let your dog see the cause-and-effect relationship between movement and treat dispensing
Difficulty Progression
  1. Start with the widest opening setting on the adjustable dispenser
  2. Once your dog grasps the concept, gradually narrow the opening to increase challenge
  3. Monitor for frustration and adjust difficulty accordingly
  4. Progress slowly to maintain engagement without overwhelming your dog
Optimal Usage
  1. Replace one daily meal with Wobbler feeding sessions
  2. Use preferably for morning meals when dogs have higher energy levels
  3. Allow 10-15 minutes for typical sessions, up to 20-30 minutes for highly motivated dogs
  4. Choose appropriate surface - hard floors for easier rolling, carpet for quieter sessions
Maintenance
  1. Disassemble the Wobbler after each use
  2. Wash with warm, soapy water
  3. Inspect dispensing hole for clogs or damage
  4. Allow to dry completely before next use

Notes

Start with high-value treats and gradually increase difficulty. Fill no more than halfway to prevent jamming. Clean after each use with warm soapy water. Supervise initial sessions. Best used as replacement for one daily meal, preferably morning feeding.
